What to Pack for Your Summer Pack Trip
Your summer pack trip is all about comfort, adventure, and experiencing the backcountry with ease. To ensure you have everything you need while keeping your gear lightweight, we ask that you pack in a soft duffle bag with a maximum weight of 35 pounds per person. Here’s a suggested packing list to help you prepare for an unforgettable trip!

Clothing
- 1 pair of jeans
- 2 pairs of lightweight pants
- Long-sleeved shirt and sweatshirt or mid-layer
- 2-3 lightweight shirts
- Rain gear (pants & coat)
- Layering jackets (such as a fleece pullover or light jacket)
- 3 pairs of hiking socks (moisture-wicking or smart wool)
- Regular socks
- Sweatpants for lounging around the campfire
- Bathing suit (if you're brave enough for chilly mountain water!)
- Light wool or leather gloves for cool nights and mornings
- Long underwear for sleeping
- Wool or down vest
- Scarf or buff (great for dusty trails)

- Good hiking boots (non-insulated, can be worn for the ride in)
- Chaco/Teva-style sandals for wading

We do not provide alcoholic beverages, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
